Orchard Sophia is only a short walk away from the newly restored Plaza Singapura and its newly extended wing, the retail platform of The Atrium@Orchard. Both Plaza Singapura and Dhoby Ghaut MRT Stations, both less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Orchard Sophia, are easily accessible on foot.

    Orchard Sophia Location

Mount Sophia’s most recognizable landmark, it’s situated in the exclusive Sophia district. There is a good mix of one to two bedrooms, two to three bathrooms, two to four bedrooms and three or more bedroom apartments in the complex, which includes a jogging track, a lap pool, a Jacuzzi, and a mirror pool. There are mountain terraces, flowing waterfalls, water walls, and reflecting pools all surrounded by lush forest.

You won’t have to go far to find whatever you want, whether it’s a mall, park, restaurant, or any other kind of attraction. Even if you don’t, the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange is just a two-minute walk from the hotel in either direction.

If you send your kids to St. Margaret’s Primary School or Anglo-Chinese School (Junior), they’ll graduate from SMU with honors in no time. Is the Art District more important to you than the law or business? The hotel is close to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.

When there is something for everyone, it is more difficult to slow down and take a rest. A lap pool is the perfect training ground for the next world record-breaking swimmer, while a kids pool keeps the little ones entertained for hours.

Relax in the Spa Retreat and enjoy a soothing sunbath on the Pool Deck when you’re ready for a break from the cold.

About Former Fairhaven and Sophia Ville Collective Sales

Fairhaven and Sophia Ville are situated in Singapore’s Prime District 9 at 128 and 130 Sophia Lane. S$62 million was paid for the Fairhaven and Sophia Ville Combine Sites when they were sold as a whole.

This agreement was negotiated by JLL Singapore, the authorized selling agent for the combined sale of Fairhaven and Sophia Ville.

The two adjacent combined sales locations launched their bids in late August and concluded in September. More than 80% of homeowners have agreed to the en bloc sale, therefore this is the next step. SS$64 million was the initial asking price for the property, which was reduced to S$62 million after a lengthy negotiation.

With a total plot ratio of 2.1, the combined properties cover 23,828 square feet. Residential uses are permitted under the Urban Renewal Authority (URA) Master Plan for 2019. They may be redeveloped into a new single enormous premier residential property since it has 53,541 square feet of gross floor area.

    Potential of the Site

Because of its central locations, Sophia Ville and Fairhaven will provide any prospective investor more latitude in terms of unit size, however, JLL cautioned that they may need to wait for essential approvals.

According to Yong Choon Fah of JLL Singapore, this partnership between Sophia Ville and Fairhaven would benefit both the owners and any potential purchasers.

As a result of this combined sale, Ms Yong believes that the owners would be able to get higher and better prices than if they were selling on their own. Those who are interested in purchasing a high-end property will also have more options.

Mr Yong added that the properties would be well-suited to small-scale ventures and family offices that aimed to generate long-term rental revenue.

Only 400 meters from the homes are the Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange station and the commercial center of Orchard Road.
